For more than 75 years, the American Beekeeping Federation (ABF) has been working in the interest of all beekeepers, large and small, and those associated with the beekeeping industry to ensure the future of the honey bee.
Texas Beekeepers Association was formed in 1880 to provide an environment where established beekeepers could meet and share methods and experiences, while learning new techniques and discovering new research. It’s focus, then and now, is about the honey bee, it’s survival and management.
The Eastern Apicultural Society of North America, Inc., is an international non-profit educational organization founded in 1955 for the promotion of bee culture, education of beekeepers, certification of Master Beekeepers, and excellence in bee research.
bringing researchers and beekeepers together from all over the world with the aim of solving pressing problems related to world apiculture, the bee products trade, honey adulteration, bee disease control, new technologies and beekeeping extension.
We're an industry-funded agriculture promotion group that educates consumers about the benefits and uses of honey and honey products. Our research, marketing, and promotional programs are funded by an assessment on domestic and imported honey and are designed to increase awareness and usage of honey by consumers, the foodservice industry, and food manufacturers.
Dedicated to promoting the common interest and general welfare of the American honey producer.
The Honey Bee Health Coalition brings together beekeepers, growers, researchers, government agencies, agribusinesses, conservation groups, manufacturers, and consumer brands to improve the health of honey bees.
The Bee Informed Partnership is a dynamic, interdisciplinary team who is passionate about saving honey bees. Our group consists of laboratory diagnostic experts, technical transfer team specialists, and IT development. Our team also includes scientists, grant writers and analysts who help further our mission. Our Board includes stakeholders who are vested in our goals and who make sure that we are leading the industry with our programs and services. We are spread out all over the US but remain inextricably linked as a family to make our services as valuable to the beekeepers and researchers as possible.
The mission of the Texas Apiary Inspection Service is to safeguard the apiary industry of Texas through the application of science-based regulations, educational opportunities and open communication with the industry.
The Texas Master Beekeeper Program (TMBP) is an educational program designed to increase the knowledge and skill level of participating beekeepers. The program is a five-year (minimum) beekeeper training and certification program provided by the Texas Apiary Inspection Service in association with the Texas Beekeepers Association.
Creating a solid group of scientists with a common interest (i.e., honey bees) encourages lively discussions and collaborations among laboratory members. By working as a team and holding weekly laboratory meetings, we all bring forth our strengths and knowledge, and students are able to learn from each other different techniques and concepts needed to carry out their research projects. at's a product or service you'd like to show.
